You can never get through, you can never get an appointment. If i book online its about in 3 weeks time. Why can't we have appointments at lunch times and saturdays. Not great customer service. Staff on reception friendly. Must be a difficult job!

To the manager-need to improve your calls system as i am on hold for 15-30 min and still cant go through to book an appt for my ill newborn baby.

To try and talk to a receptionist at the surgery by telephone is absolutely ridiculous. No matter what time of day I call no one will answer !! Today 21st October 2016 I have been trying for over an hour and a half !!!! . I have tried all different telephone options but still no one will answer the telephone !!!!!!! Hang on someone is answering the telephone !!!!!! Either there are not enough telephones or there are not enough staff to man the phones. I have been told that the only way to get an appointment on the day is to come to the surgery before they open at 8.30 am. That's a great idea if you are feeling really unwell. My husband and I have been with Bourne Hall/Fitznell sugery for over 40 years. I'm sure in the early days there was never this problem. For goodness sake please please improve this the service !!!!!!!

Every time I try to call this surgery no matter what time in the day it takes over 20 minutes for the phone to get answered! even in the afternoon when I can imagine their phones are not that busy- its 1pm and im trying to call to cancel an appointment I have currently been on hold for 20 minutes with no indication as to how much longer I may be waiting. VERY FRUSTRATING. I'm not surprised people don't show up for appointments! when you try to call in to inform them you don't need the appointment you have to wait such a ridiculously long amount of time!!!!!! At least put in a service on the phone line that gives an estimate of how long you will be waiting so I know whether to hang on or give up and try later. Its a joke absolutely ridiculous.

08.42 Monday the 10th of October 2016, I started calling the Doctors number 0137272443. 12.42 !!!! I got through after more than 10 tries!!!! This is the present service we receive from the Integrated Care Service, which, quite frankly has continued to deteriorate ever since the wonderful days of Anthony Trevan, Susan Mitchell etc. This has not been a one off. This is what happens ALL of the time! My wife and I are in our 70's now, We do not expect favours, but as we both have continuing medical problems, we need to be able to communicate! My wife is diabetic 2 and has regular appointments with Alun Jones. At the end of each of her appointments (more than one a year), he books the next appointment with her for a number of months ahead. Can you please tell me how on earth we can book a blood test for her 7 -12 days (as recommended) ahead of her next visit to Dr. Jones if the Wishing Well continues to have all the problems we have seen this year when we tried to make blood test bookings on a very regular basis? Please note:- i) As stated, we live a stones throw away from Fitznells Manor. ii) We cannot rely on a car to take us to any other locations. iii) Local transport (buses trains etc.) is no use or too expensive for us to go to other locations! Please tell me. Where are we going from here - better or worse? I cannot wait to hear the answer. William Morgan
